A new Silicon Valley business incubator called The Start Project has recruited a high-profile group of entrepreneurs as advisers, which it announced today on its Web site.

The Start Project is the brainchild of serial entrepreneurs Narendra Rocherolle of 83 Degrees, who co-founded a range of companies, and Josh Felser of Spinner and Crackle.

hanno come advisors alcuni importanti imprenditori che hanno avuto successo con le loro start-up:

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg, former Google (GOOG) exec and angel investor Chris Sacca, as well as Whiskey Media’s Mike Tatum and Jeffries & Co. Managing Director David Liu, have all agreed to help the company’s start-ups before and during their creation.

Polaris Venture Partners is also involved, lending office space in San Francisco and possible investments in whatever innovative ideas bubble up, with a first-look option.

Da noi invece si scrive e si parla di come fare un elevator pitch in 90 secondi stilisticamente perfetto, naturalmente chi scrive e parla non ha mai ricevuto un finanziamento per una start up e non ha nemmeno mai finanziato una start up di successo.

Chi in Italia potrebbe essere il Leader di un incubatore del genere?

E chi potrebbe essere il Venture Partner?

Faccio fatica a trovare dei nomi veri, non quelli che insegnano a fare bellissimi elevator pitch, proprio quelli che hanno creato una start up di successo in Italia.

Chissà perché da noi sono tutti così attenti alla forma, all’esposizione corretta sempre e solo per questioni estetiche senza mai portare esempi concreti di successo?
